Bath Relief for Trying Times
Everything seems to be little bit “more” than usual right now, more stress, more awareness, more choices… A Mustard Bath is an ideal way to detoxify, reset and relax.
Traditionally used to relieve sore muscles and aide in detoxification mustard baths create a warming effect on the body. Add Rosemary, Eucalyptus, or Wintergreen for a traditional soak. However, I’ve included a special oil blend specifically useful for these trying times.
- 1 cup powdered mustard seed
- 2 cups Baking Soda
- 1 cup Epsom Salt
Essential Oil Blend for integration and inspiring ease through transition, based on an Egyptian formula.
- 10 drops Cypress
- 5 drops Atlas Cedarwood
- 5 drops Rosewood
- 10 - 15 drops bergamot
Mix well into bath ingredients. And store in a glass jar away form light or heat. This receipe makes 4-12 baths.
Use: Ideally, add ¼ cup to 1 cup each bath.
