Turmeric Bliss Bombs

Turmeric Bliss Bombs

Prep Time:  20 minutes
Yields:  20 one-inch balls

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1.5 cup dried coconut flakes, organic
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil*
  • 1./4 cup honey, preferably local and raw
  • 3 tablespoons turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon bee pollen, preferably local
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper*

In a separate bowl, 2 tablespoons flaked coconut and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, mixed well
Place cashews in a food processor, pulsing a few times.  Add coconut oil, honey, turmeric, bee pollen, pepper and coconut flakes.  Pulse until well combined. 

Before rolling the balls, massage your hands (front and back and even your nails) with a bit of coconut oil. It will help minimize turmeric coloring and be a nice treat for your likely under-appreciated hands. 

Spoon out approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture and form into a ball. Roll the ball in coconut flake/pepper mixture, coating it evenly.

Turmeric Bliss Balls can be individually wrapped and stored in the freezer indefinitely.
